"What more do you want from me, Derek? Please tell me, because I just have no idea. Whatever I was giving you before either meant absolutely nothing to you or it simply wasn't enough. Or maybe I was naive and you were right, it was all suppose to be fun and I took it all too seriously, started to fall in lo--," she quickly pressed her lips together and shook her head. What was wrong with her? How was it that she managed to lose all sense around this man?

"Truthfully, Derek... With you, I broke all of my own rules and I have no one to blame but myself. You never promised me anything and yet I expected you care for me as I do-- did you. Hearing you with whoever that was, it was an eye opener. We expected two different things... And maybe I just expected too much." She looked away, and shook her head again. This was why she had wanted to do things on her own. She lost all sense of logic around him and ended up saying way more than he ever needed to know.
