It wasn't a joke.

[Which is true, but knowing him like she does, that reply from him seems a little strange. He would at least tease her back before.]

I was asking if you knew how to do plumbing. My sink is going bonkers and the plumber I had did a half-ass job of fixing it. The pipe needs to be replaced and I'm wary of getting someone else I don't trust in here.

[ It's been a month of avoiding people and social circles, going straight to the office at Elysium and not hanging out after classes at The Wolf's Den. Neither has he had many laughs. As is the way with the brokenhearted. ]

My bad. I'm decent at it. Haven't had any problems with any that I've done or fixed. Especially kitchens and bathrooms. Gimme a time. I'll be there.
