Like a shadow, she was suddenly between the two men and pushing them apart with surprisingly strong hands.
When there were punches, those were grabbed and redirected, held as she informed them that they would be asked to leave.
And for the last, the same was done: it was clear that she had no intention of throwing any punches or kicks if she could possibly at all avoid it. Instead, she used her strength and her skill to harmlessly redirect, to dodge, and to control her combatants with an eye for keeping the conflict close enough that they shouldn't flail out and harm anyone else. The general feel that one would get from seeing her in action was that she could do significantly more than she was doing, and that at all times, the fight was in her control.
"Impressive," Derek stated with a nod while slightly out of breath. The same couldn't be said for his volunteer student who might have been younger than his instructor but not as conditioned.
Morgan looked to his help and engaged in a handshake pulled into a slight shoulder bump with a pat to the man's back in thanks so the kid could be on his way. He immediately looked back to Cassandra. "You can have any position on the security team that you want. With what you just did, you can easily handle what typically goes on there," he told while leading the way off the open floor space, in case anyone else wanted the area.
"I'll let Izzy know you're on your way. It shouldn't take her more than a day to get everything done paperwork-wise, if that. One of us two will let you know when you'e clear to start." Derek recently lost one of his assistant managers and now had Cassandra in mind for the spot. He'd observe her work ethic for a week or two before offering.
Cassandra Cain-Wayne has a mildly terrifying work ethic. Though she would more than likely need some direction. This was, after all, her first real 'job'.
"I'll go wherever I'm needed on your team. Is there a dress code for when I'm at work or is this sufficient?"
Direction was his strong suit. She'd be taken under his wing. With a solid work ethic as a foundation, leadership was easy to build. Derek already liked her attitude about the job.
"There's something of a uniform. You get to select what style clothing you like best but it's pretty much a dark top and bottom. You'll get an allowance for footwear once a year. Can't be anything where the sole will mark the club floor or a heel that can cause damage to the flooring and people."
"Then you'll feel right at home," Derek responded with his own slight smirk.
He gave a nod at her first question, taking a sip of water from his nearby water bottle that he swooped up as they walked past. "Is gonna depend on how quick Izzy can clear you to start. I've gotta check the schedule and see where the holes are. If she can start you by tonight, I'll be in around eight to check the line up for the night."
Meaning that Cassandra could contact him if she wanted to pick up hours ASAP.
His grin widened. "Not a bad idea. You can case the place while under the radar," he quipped with a wink.
"Just ask for me at the door. I'll let them know I'm expecting you." Derek concluded without teasing, still holding a friendly grin. He liked her gumption. Cassandra was a keeper.
...well I just did the same thing so... even? *facepalm*

"Sufficient?"
lol, We're obviously birds of a feather

"I usually wear black."
Pretty much consistently. She was the type who'd wear black until they figured out a darker color for her. Less goth about it, more ninja.
"And I don't wear heels."
...she'd tried Barbara's costume once. Never. Again.
"I'll get the uniform when the paperwork is done?" Headtilt. "And my first shift?"
and then there was a slight rl/rp slump, sorry

no worries at all ^_^
She considers what he'd said, running a hand absently over her hair before turning back.
"I will stop by around eight. If you have work for me and everything is clear then, I'll stay."
She smiles a little, the first real expression of something closer to happiness.
"I may stay anyway. I like dancing."

Then she looks around the dojo.
"Would I be welcome to return here?"
